With her passion for leading, positive attitude, and stellar work-ethic, Head Coach Brenda Frese, in just a few years, brought Maryland Women's Basketball back to national prominence. She has been described by her players as being a "terrific role model", a "great motivator", "a mom away from home". Among her peers, she is known as a "driven and determined leader", "hard working", and is well respected. Coach B genuinely cares about each and every student-athlete. It's very important to her that each and every one of her players ""current and past players" are achieving success and are doing well.
