Family
Whether our team is hanging out at Coach B's house or giving one another support on the basketball court, our student-athletes are more like sisters than teammates. As a mother to her twin boys at home, Coach B is also a mother-like and positive role model to each of her student-athletes. She's often referred to as a "mother away from home" and she genuinely cares for the well-being of each and every student-athlete.
With our team family dinners, holiday parties and each and every one really taking the time to get to know one another off the court, it's easy to understand why we consider ourselves a "family". No matter how far away our student-athletes may be from home, with our fun, family environment, everyone always feels right at home here at Maryland!
